Nicole Kidment and Keith Urban welcomed a bouncing, healthy baby girl Monday in Nashville, Tennessee. They named her Sunday Rose! Quirky but kinda beautiful, don’t cha think? I don’t know how much they’re selling little Sunday’s pics for, but I’m sure we’ll all be treated to her beautiful baby face, soon.
Let’s throw them a baby shower! Since it’s cyberspace and my blog, I get to make up the menu all by myself. And since I’m limited to my own pregnancy experience, I’ll go with the menu from my first shower. It fit me to a “T”, since my cravings were all about CREAM CHEESE!
Well have big fat spanish olives stuffed with cream cheese, little ham roll ups with a cream cheese center filling, wrapped around a thin but savory slice of green onion (try it sometime!), cucumber sandwiches (slice of cucumber on top of a cut round of white bread slathered in a cream cheese/miracle whip mixture, sprinkled lightly with season salt), and a fresh crab dip with little pita toasts (cream cheese base mixed with finely chopped vidalia onion and a little worchestershire sauce, topped with a layer of cocktail sauce straight out of the bottle and then heavily sprinkled with fresh crab – be sure to pick through for shells!). Oh! And teeny little individual red velvet cakes with – you guessed it – cream cheese frosting! I’m dying here!
We’ll need favors – cute ones! Here are our options:

Now, presents! This is an upscale baby, so no diaper cakes, please. What do you think of these?
I’m leaning toward the Tillie the Turtle keepsake box – you should see how cute those teeny tiny bath slippers are! And – I can get her name embroidered on the towel – Sunday Rose Kidman Urban – well, maybe part of it – just the Sunday Rose part.
But of course there will be enough of us to where we can all choose one for a gift!
So congratulations Miss Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and welcome to the big wide world! You’ll love Nashville. They have the coolest Farmers Market and lots of hot country stars. If you need a nanny on a trip to Australia, call me! I’ve never been, but I’ve heard it’s a great place to visit.
And of course congratulations to Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. Job well done!
